Transportation

Bus transportation is only provided to students who live in Quarter Section 2 or Quarter Section 10.

Quarter Section 2 Bus Information

The Quarter Section 2 Bus Stop is on Bradford Street and Katella Avenue along the Brick Wall. Bus 9 will pick up students at this bus stop at 7:37 a.m. The bus will leave promptly at 2:07 p.m., so students must ensure they are on time. Students will catch Bus 42 in the front parking lot at the end of school to return home.

Quarter Section 10 Bus Information

The Quarter Section 10 Bus Stop is on Orangewood Avenue at Eucalyptus Park. Bus 9 will pick up students at this bus stop at 7:43 a.m. Students can catch Bus 42 in the front parking lot to return home. Bus 42 will leave promptly at 2:07 p.m., so students must load the bus on time.

Students will receive their Student Identification ZPass during the first week of school. Until receiving the ZPass, students may ride the bus without an ID. Once students have been issued a ZPass for Identification, they must show the bus driver daily. Students that lose their ZPass will be required to purchase a new pass from GGUSD Transportation.

• REMAIN SEATED
• KEEP THE NOISE DOWN
• NO SMOKING
• KEEP ALL PARTS OF THE BODY INSIDE THE BUS
• KEEP PERSONAL BELONGINGS OUT OF AISLES
• DO NOT USE PROFANITY
• DO NOT PUSH OR SHOVE GETTING ON/OFF THE BUS
• GET ON/OFF THE BUS AT THE REGULAR STOP
• CLEATED SHOES ARE NOT PERMITTED ON BUS
• KNOW EMERGENCY EXIT PROCEDURES

Disciplinary Procedures

Children's safety is our #1 priority on all GGUSD buses. Students who break the safe bus riding rules are subject to progressive disciplinary procedures. The disciplinary process consists of oral and written warnings, which are reported to and reinforced by the student's school principal.
